Meaning: Atsa is of Navajo origin mean “ Eagle” Sandoval is of Spanish/Portuguese origin meaning “newly cleared land”
Age: Entered the camp at 13 and is now 16 (start of lost hero)

Physical Description (be at least a little detailed):Above average height, long legs, thin but in shape. Medium size chest and has some curves to her figure, strong core. Dark toned skin with a rounded face.

Personality
Good Traits: Humble, sweet, funny, hard working, ambitious, reliable, warmhearted
Bad Traits:Low Self esteem, can be shy, distant, has a habit of being impolite without realizing it (happens most often when she just wants people to leave her alone), naive, resentful, stubborn.
Good Habits: knows how to take a joke, once her mind is set to something she will finish it, helps those who really need it
Bad Habits: Talks very fast when nervous, can’t sits still and will tap when things get too quiet for her liking, unable to communicate feelings and thoughts well.

Mother: Hecate- Atsa is indifferent about her mother, she doesn’t really care for her nor does she love Hecate. Really she wishes to at least meet her once to see why her dad fell in love with the Goddess of Magic
Father: Hastiin Sandoval- She was and still is very close to her father. They had always been very close to one another because they were all the other had. The only time they ever actually argued and had an actually fight was when Atsa found out about the other half of her life she never knew about. But even with this bump in the road They small family is still very close to each other.

Leo Valdez- Atsa loves the son of Hephaestus for his funny jokes. Even when he isn’t trying he can make her laugh. Their friendship is one that they can’t behave when they work with one another.
March Porter- A son of Apollo she meet in her first year at the camp when she was still learning about the how she was a Demigod. They became close friends who she soons develops a crush for.
Rebecca Sanchez- A daughter of Demeter, Atsa meets Rebecca “Beck” in her second year at the camp. From the moment they met they formed a very close almost sister like friendship

Sani Serrano- Meet him a few years before at one of the many schools she attended. He was the only one to really to reach out to her and try to make her feel welcomed. She soon grew close to him and they became very close friends ever since.
Boy/Girlfriend: none yet (has a crush on her camp friend March)

Weapon: celestial Bronze Kopis sword

Strengths: Footwork, swordsmanship, anticipation, very swift with her attacks, offence
Weaknesses: A bit hesitant on her left leg, long distance projectiles, defence (will leave herself open for attack), struggles with large weapons finds them not as effective.
Abilities (if any): Can perform some forms of combative magic (ex. Jinxes and Curses), has a good sense of direction
Magical Abilities: Atsa is best with the jinx that will slow and opponent down for a short period of time
Fatal Flaw: Lack of self-confidence (she doesn't believe in herself to complete difficult tasks and will sometimes back away from a fight with a larger opponent because of this.)


Background
Put a brief overview of their story
Atsa was born on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City, Arizona. Because it was only her father and herself, she did live in a small adobe house on the outer edges of the city. Atsa lived a typical life for a young demigod: moving from school to school, having to deal with her ADHD and dyslexia which caused her to almost fail each class, also she had been considered a troublemaker by causing disruptions in her classes. One day on her way home from her middle school, she had run into her first monster, a hellhound to be precise. Atsa had been saved by a satyr who then started to reveal the whole Greek world to her as he lead her back to Camp Half Blood. Finding the whole camp environment very similar to her life back at her home, she decided to stay year round at the camp but still visits her father often throughout the school year. Atsa was claimed in her second year at the camp, and was sent to join the Hecate cabin.
